AI Operations Specialist – Business Automation & Growth
Role Overview
We are looking for an AI Operations Specialist to help scale our business by designing, building, and managing AI-powered workflows and custom GPTs that support both client-facing and internal business processes.
You will work closely with the business owner to translate real business needs into practical AI solutions that teams can actually use.
Key Responsibilities
- AI Workflow Design & Automation
- Design and implement end-to-end AI workflows
- Automate repetitive tasks using AI + automation platforms
- Ensure workflows are documented, stable, and easy to maintain
- Custom GPT Development
- Build and maintain custom GPTs and Gems
- Structure prompts, system instructions, and guardrails
- AI Tool Stack Management
- Select, test, and manage AI tools responsibly (Text, Images, Videos, etc)
- Monitor performance, costs, and reliability
Skills & Competencies
Core AI & Automation Skills
- Strong experience with LLM-based tools (e.g., ChatGPT, custom GPTs, Gems, etc)
- Prompt engineering with structured, reusable prompts
- Workflow automation experience (e.g., Make, Zapier, n8n or similar tools)
- Solid understanding of AI limitations, hallucinations, and quality control
Business & Systems Thinking
- Ability to think in terms of processes, workflows, and outcomes
- Strong understanding of:
- Business operations
- Consulting and service-delivery workflows
- Content and knowledge systems
- Comfortable working with non-technical stakeholders
Execution & Problem-Solving
- Practical, solution-oriented mindset
- Ability to move from idea → prototype → usable system
- Strong documentation habits
Communication & Collaboration
- Clear communicator (written and verbal)
- Able to explain AI concepts in simple, business-friendly language
- Comfortable working directly with leaders and decision-maker
Qualifications & Experience
- 2+ years experience in automation, workflows, and AI operations.
- Proven experience building real, production-ready AI systems
